Some lighthearted fun

February 5th, 2007 | Posted in Blog

Paul, Ken and a few others including myself have agreed to a bit of a challenge in the run up to the Irish Blog Awards. Basically whoever gets the largest percentage increase in RSS subscribers via Feedburner between now and then will do well on the drinks front on awards night. So if you are one of those readers who just pops over here regularly via your browser, why not consider adding this blog to your RSS reader?

Users of desktop feedreaders like Awasu or Thunderbird have to add the feed manually. Just copy this URL in:

http://feeds.feedburner.com/Loudervoice

Users of the built-in feedreader in Firefox or Internet Explorer 7 just have to click the orange RSS icon in the address bar or toolbar of their respective browsers.

Users of online feedreaders like Bloglines can select from one of the following:

Go on, you know it makes sense.

Of course the longer this goes on, the more drink is going to be served in Dublin :)

    It's a scourge really :-)

  3. I had to test the new Google reader so you're my first feed! btw, do you know if there is any plan for an Irish meet up at the FOWA conference?

So you managed to get a ticket in the end ;-)

Haven't heard of any meetup but looking at the FoWA Lounge, it appears the entire Nooked gang will be there for a start.

I've also signed up for the Geek Dinner with Tara and Chris on the Wednesday. Looks like it'll be fun.

  5. I followed your advice and Fergus got me a magic ticket!!
[Robin Blantford] left a comment on touristR blog looking to meet up - May be can go for a few drinks on the tuesday evening in kesington? I had to plan to leave on the Wed evening but may be I'll stay for the Geek dinner also :)

Sounds good, I've never met Robin.

I'll have to be handheld around London. I've got to be the only Paddy on the planet who has never spent more than 24 hrs there at a time - all five times......
