German wines, Riesling in particular, are making a big comeback. Enowine have some nice Rieslings from Sybil Kuntz, though a bit on the pricey side. I also spotted a spatburgunder in Fallon & Byrne in Dublin - basically a Pinot Noir from Germany. Interesting that the name "hattips" the ancestral home of Pinot, Burgundy. Thanks eversomuch for abiding one of my wholesome passions and for letting me share its afterglow with this wider, informed community. But I personally prefer white German wines and it pains me that they are in such short supply in Ireland.
