Very surprised by the quality of this Sauvignon. Tasted more new world than old. All the expected notes but with extra depth. Definite grapefruit action going on. Another total bargain in a French mini-market. #wine

I'm not surprised - I had this as a hot tip from a trumpet-playing buddy who used to have a perennial plant nursery in the Loire. We did bring in one or two sprightly wines from the same supplier for a while, but the Ch. de P. was, I think, 'unavailable for our market' or some such.

A pity you can't get it. We loved it so much I bought 12 bottles in Super-U. Only €4.90 a pop!We were gutted to get to one of the wine places in Roscoff and find a very poor selection and them selling Torres :-(
We also found the lovely looking restaurant you mentioned but decided our monsters would destroy the place and went for somewhere more robust.
