Bought this Chilean white wine in the local off licence in Bandon today at the bargain price of €6.99. To be honest, I was getting tired at paying over the odds for mediocre wines so decided to try something at the lower end of the price scale to see if there's really that much difference in taste. This wine has been pleasantly surprising. Pale in colour, it has the usual Sauvignon Blanc citrus notes.
Its definitely not as sharp as our usual New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs but its has melon and pineapple aromas. A light, pleasant wine at a great price, whats not to like?
