We decided to drop in and try this recently opened Italian one Sunday afternoon. Initial feelings were good, spotlessly clean, nice atmosphere and other families with young children already present.
We were not so impressed by the time we left.
It has to be said that the food was very tasty, no question. However, it is the small things which can make a difference to a family visit to a restaurant, and €2.40 for a can of coke/7up is too much to charge if trying to keep families coming back. How much is the mark up on this?
We ordered our meals and expensive soft drinks, with only one minor issue. The children's menu offered a bowl of plain pasta with butter which my six year old had chosen, but could she have a sprinkle of grated cheese on top please?
All went well until the bill arrived and we discovered that the sprinkle of cheese was being charged for at €1.30. Not impressive.
For a pizza/pasta place in the 'burbs Da Bella should re-consider their prices.
