The reviews of today definitely inspire confidence compared to last year. Here's hoping Cork will be as good!reviewer188147 at 09:44 - 15 Jun, 2008 said:

I thought the atmosphere was lovely, and the food, that was available through throngs of people was okay. I would definietly agree it was a taste of dublin, i left feeling i have been over charged for everything,it was a complete money raquact. For a ticket that cost me 75 euro i was hugely disappointed with the cattle mart feeling, the grabbing of any florins left, and the rudness of the d4 airheads giggling everywhere, Hugely disappointing.reviewer188152 at 11:13 - 16 Jun, 2008 said:
I thought the taste of Dublin was so good that I went twice over the weekend. There was a great atmosphere and somthing for everyone. This year, it was definitly a festival. Very well organised, fun for everyone and with nice touch of class.reviewer188157 at 10:14 - 18 Jun, 2008 said:
Extremely well organised - "Project Manager" whoever you are, take a well deserved break !.However, food/drink was expensive. €7 for a "finger" of fish & 3 chips..... or same price for ONE Scallop !.. The "Taste" of Dublin it was... "Value" it was not.. While this is a nice social event once the weather is good, the top restaurants in Dublin will need to provide better value to punters or else this festival will fizzle out in a few years..
Really enjoyed the day, but will not be going back.. Travelled from Galway (€50), 2 tickets x € 75, additional florins x €100, hotel - € 220, pre-event drinks € 60 and post-event drinks € 45, taxi's €22 = Total cost of outing was € 647.... Too expensive..
