As previous visitors to Rochestown Park on a number of occassions, we were not disappointed once again. The courtesy and friendliness of the staff and the comfort of our accommodation was as consistent and wonderful as ever - from reception to room service,to housekeeping, to leisure centre and dining room - we experienced it all. The purpose of our stay was to visit our only grandson who lives nearby and who has just started to walk. One would imagine that he would not be welcomed in the dining room for dinner that evening, but in true friendly and tolerant fashion the staff were more than happy to accommodate us. Even when our little grandson took on the role of 'Maitre D'' and insisted on checking out the other diners, they regarded him with humour and patience. There were other infants in the dining room that evening, and I couldn't help but wonder if the real Maitre D' thought he was running a creche! But there was not a sign or gesture of frustration or annoyance from him or his staff.A lovely atmosphere prevailed, and we were able to enjoy our precious time with our little grandson and his parents - a rare treat for us as we live in Dublin and do not have the opportunity of seeing them very often. Thank you for your part in contributing to our pleasure and enjoyment. We will be back!
