I picked up a bottle of this stout recently and I was really looking forward to something tasty and unusual, unfortunately it was a bit of a disappointment.
As expected from a bottled stout it was not very smooth and slighty fizzy. But the lack of any real chocolately flavours was a real let down. Overall an okay bottled stout that didn't deliver.
Maybe I was expecting too much, this was my first time trying a chocolate stout, but on the basis of this I wont be changing from Beamish any time soon.
