Ummera Organic Smoked Salmon

I felt something between elation and shame when I tasted Ummera Organic Smoked Salmon for the first time.
This is top quality produce from a fully organic farm in West Cork. The fish was melt-in-the-mouth tender, with a lovely texture and flavour, the smoking was subtle and in balance with the flavour of the fish meat.
This is a million miles from the cheap supermarket smoked salmon that gets churned out at ever-decreasing prices, with not a hint of the artificial flavourings or day-glo colourings that we've sadly become accustomed to.

Whilst you might think I'm biased because I know Anthony, I honestly think it's the best smoked salmon I've ever eaten.
The rubbish on sale in most shops doesn't even rate as the same fish as far as I'm concerned.
Some Ummera salmon with a touch of lemon juice, a grind of pepper and some lovely brown bread from Bandon Farmer's Market and you have the perfect lunch.
