Cork Coffee Roasters cafe

This is the new(ish) cafe on Bridge Street, Cork. I'd been meaning to pop in here for quite a while since a friend had reccommended it, but only finally made it there the other day. The interior is lovely and reminded me somewhat of the coffee shop in 'Frasier'. It's a proper coffee house and some of theseating is even arranged around an ancient coffee making machine (at least I hope that's what it is!). Their cakes look appetizing but I only had time for a quick cuppa and chose the mint tea, which was good. Terrible really that I don't have a coffee review but I'm planning on writing one soon...Poor me, I suppose I'll just have to pop back in there. Maybe I'll have some cake too next time!

I'm so glad they've opened a cafe. They really know their coffee. I've had it at farmer's markets and bought the ground coffee too.I tried to get them to start a coffee blog but to no avail :-( They learned their trade in Seattle so I'm not surprised by the Frasier vibe!

Ooh I was spot on then! Yes, I've seen their stall at the farmer's market in Mahonpoint. More often than not I end up at O Conaill's though (excuse my spelling there), as you get free chocolate buttons with any hot drink purchased. A nice little add-on.
