I stayed in this hotel for five nights and i must say i really enjoyed it. The location - less than a five minute walk from times square, and surrounded by bars, restaurants and theatres - was excellent. And for a hotel located so close to times square, it offers excellent value for money.
The rooms, even if the decor was a little outdated, were clean and well-maintained. Our twin room had the benefit of having two double beds, and although it made the room seem a little cramped, it was worth it for the comfort that we enjoyed. The room had cable TV, phone, internet access, safe and an ensuite bathroom.
I found the staff at the hotel to be efficient, helpful and friendly and the security staff seemed to be on the ball. Although the hotel was undergoing renovation during our visit to New York, it did not interfere or affect us in anyway.
Overall I had a very pleasant stay... a big thumps up for the Milford Plaza.
