"Propaganda Beds" = Guerilla planting of veg in towns. Briliant! Inspirational programme packed with ideas.
Hugh has upped his game once again (pun intended). From beetroot recipes to allotments to making faggots to the above mentioned planting, it was fantastic television.
To go geeky for a second, the idea of planting on public ground without permission and allowing anyone to harvest seems to be the next generation of "Commons". Perhaps we should call it Commons 2.0 where it's not about grazing but about planting.
Oh and I'll be making that fantastic looking beans on toast when I get a chance.

Deffinatly,all the River Cottage programes are brilliant,i baught all the River cottage DVD's,but i have to buy River Cottage Autumn when it's released on DVD,realy great programes,realy like the way Hugh tells his story as the programes progresses,he also expains and is'nt ashamed to admit if things are going wrong for him,he's very oopen about things,like takes the rough with the smooth.All i can say is the best of luck & long live River Cottage & good old Hugh!
