Well in fairness the iPhone had the wow-factor from day 1, even when its OS wasn't nearly as developed as it is now.
I do think the next series of Palm handsets will be worth watching out for, though. They've come on leaps and bounds in one generation so it's only logical that the major creases will be ironed out and they'll have hit their stride by the next one.
