Kung Fu Panda

*****

Reviewed by Conor O'Neill via on 16 Nov 2008

I watched Kung Fu Panda yesterday finally. I can honestly say it's a 2008 movie highlight for me. Kids loved it too. Fantastic action mixed with perfectly judged humour. No double entendres for adults, just great one liners that anyone can appreciate. 5/5 in my book.

Jack Black was alright for the first few moments of his career, but he really is starting to annoy me.

It was an alright movie, script was a bit poor at times, but thats not the point of the movie is it?

I was a little apprehensive about the degree of giddy anticipation in the junior ranks before we watched this, but it was good entertainment and didn't disappoint any of us: we're all easy to disappoint in our different ways. I'm all for the secret ingredient.

I watched Kung Fu Panda and Wall-E back-to-back one weekend a couple of weeks ago. Kids loved both films, but for me KFP was an easy winner :-).

Not sure if I can post URL's in the comments, but you can read more about it here: http://url.ie/x1r

I'm totally with you on that. I would happily watch KFP on my own which is the sign of a good kid's movie.
