Having watched the original years ago I was looking forward to seeing this updated version. Two episodes in and I reckon it's not too bad.
The Visitors, led by Anna in this version, arrive on earth and apparently 'come in peace'. By the second episode it has become evident to some that all is not as it seems and some visitors have been covertly on earth for 7 years or more, living as humans, in what appears to be a plot to accelerate cooperation and acceptance. It's not exactly brilliant or original but it's grand, no brainer, sci-fi entertainment.
