Nurse Jackie, series 1
2 episodes in and I'm liking this medical drama/black comedy. It reminds me of the erstwhile brilliant BBC's Cardiac Arrest. Edie Falco is very convincing in the title role. Will definitely keep watching as it's the best new show I've seen in a long while. ...

Weeds (Season 5 Premier)
Still too dark for my liking but Celia and Doug are back on form. Hope the Mexican storyline ends soon.When we discovered Weeds in Season 2, we went right back to the start to watch every episode. The first three seasons were mainly wonderful, dark comedy at its very best. ...
