This is a really delicious red wine from California. Light red in colour, its raspberry/strawberry flavours really stand out.

Nugan Estate Third Generation Shiraz Rosé 2007
Fresh, raspberry flavours that feel like Summer from Australia. Perfect with BBQ served slightly chilled.
Good value at approximately €8, purchased in Scally's Supervalu, Clonakilty.

This dry white wine didn't really live up to expectatations. Mild gooseberry flavour but pretty bland. Over priced at €12.99 from Aldi.

Rietvallei Estate Shiraz 2003
This ruby red south african wine is smooth with plenty of fruit, pepper and spice. Full bodied with oak flavours, it is probably best appreciated with food.
